Thank you to Bill Blackburn!

The current Board of Directors for Gallinas Valley Little League would like to thank Bill Blackburn for his many years of service to our league. Bill served on the Board for 14 years, coached for 9 years, including two years of All-Stars and many years of Fall Ball. He’s been the sponsorship coordinator, umpired, official scorekeeper, tournament director, fundraised, and more. His wife Julie has also been active as a team parent and volunteer. With his son, Chase, now in college Bill felt now was a good time to step down from the Board. Little Leagues simply don’t work without people like Bill, and listing his roles doesn’t do justice to the time, effort, and care that is put forth to such a commitment. Thank you Bill for all that you have done for our league and the kids and families who benefited it over the years. We still expect to see you out there on some game days.
