Registrations are Open for 2021 Spring Baseball

2021 Spring Baseball Registrations are now Open!

We have a little bit of insight on youth sports guidelines in California. Per a notice released on 12/14 by the California Department of Public Health indicates that after January 25th (at the earliest), baseball games may be allowed to be played when a county is within the red tier. You can find information regarding our GVLL COVID-19 Safety and Play Rules by clicking here. Additional Youth Sports Guidelines issued by CA on Feb 19th provide more information and allow us to play with some conditions in the purple tier and provided more guidance.

Season Dates

Registration: Jan - Feb 27
Skill Assessments for Upper Divisions*: Video Submission Due on March 1st. More info here
Practices Begin:
Majors: Week of March 10th
Minors: Week of March 15th
AAA-Machine Pitch: March 20th
AA-Coach Pitch- March 20th
Tee-Ball: March 20th
Intro to Tee-Ball: April 24th

Note that the date provided is the earliest date, your manager will reach out to you with a practice schedule.

Opening Day: April 24th

If conditions change and games cannot be played by May, we will instead complete 8 weeks of practices / skills development at a reduced rate of $200 per player (middle of March to middle of May). The difference in the registration fees would be returned in that case. You can read more about the refund policy by clicking here.

Note on Skill Assessments. Beginning at age 9, kids are placed in a division based on skill and safety. Any player who is 9 or older by August 31, 2021 must complete a skills assessment. Kids under the age of 9 can participate in the skill assessment voluntarily. This year we are requesting video submission for skills assessments- find out more info here.
