Gallinas Valley Little League baseball program includes divisions for all girls and boys ages 4-16 who reside or attend school in the 94903 zip code. Our program includes a variety of levels suited to your child’s age and skills:

LOWER DIVISION
Intro to Tee Ball: Beginner Level - League age 4
Tee Ball: Beginner Level - League ages 5 & 6
AA Coach Pitch: League ages 6, 7 and older
AAA Machine Pitch: League ages 7, 8 and older

UPPER DIVISION (Skills Assessment Required)
Minors: League ages 8-11
Majors: League ages 10-12
Intermediates: League age 13
Juniors: League ages 13 and 14
Seniors: League ages 15 and 16

A note on Skills Assessment. Beginning at age 9, kids are placed in a division based on skill and safety. Any player who is 9 or older by August 31, 2023 must complete a skills evaluation. Kids under the age of 9 can participate in the skill assessment voluntarily. Skills assessments will be January 7th & 8th. More to come on the location and sign ups. 

Key dates for the season:

January 7th & 8th: Upper Division Skills Assessment 
January 20th: Upper Division Teams Formed
Early February: Lower Division Teams Formed
March 18th: Opening Day Parade! Games Start

Call for Volunteers! Gallinas Valley Little League is a non-profit volunteer operated organization that facilitates kids playing baseball in our community. It's completely run by parents and/or community members donating time for our kids and community.

Serving as a volunteer is an important part of participating in Little League- Team Parents, Coaches, Snack Bar help, Umpires, Field Maintenance, and Equipment and Uniforms coordinators and more are what makes this league work. When you register please consider signing up as a volunteer and coach and help make our league a wonderful place for kids to play baseball and have fun. 

We will continue to communicate updates with you as we prepare for Opening Day and the 2023 Spring Season. We look forward to seeing you and our players next year!
