Dear GVLL Families,

We’re excited to announce our biggest fundraiser of the season—the GVLL Hit-a-Thon on Sunday, May 18th! This is a fun and interactive way for our players to get involved, showcase their skills, and help raise critical funds to support our league.

Why It Matters
Did you know that registration fees cover only about 69% of GVLL’s operational costs? As an entirely volunteer-run organization, we rely on sponsorships, Snack Bar sales, and fundraisers like this to keep registration affordable, enhance our fields, and provide a safe, memorable baseball experience for our community.

This year, our goal is to raise $20,000—and with your help, we can make a huge impact! GVLL's wish list for future projects includes  ⚾ Install a batting cage at MS1 ⚾ Improve MS2 with a skinned infield  ⚾ Upgrade our fields and facilities. 

How It Works
Each player will have a personal fundraising page on 99 Pledges (emailed directly to parents). We encourage families to reach out to friends, neighbors, and relatives—or even get creative with bake sales—to help each player raise at least $50.

Then, on May 18th at Launchpad, players will step up to the plate for their big moment—5 swings to see how far they can hit using HitTrax technology! There are exciting prizes for teams with the highest fundraising totals and participation.

Post-Event Celebration 🎉
After the Hit-a-Thon, join us at Ounces Outdoors for a well-deserved celebration! Fundraiser participants can enjoy Jump City, and our very own GVLL Dad Band, Midlife Riot, will be rocking the stage.
