Fall Ball

2024 Fall Ball

Welcome to Fall Ball 2024! Registration is Now Open!

The season dates are Sundays from September 8 to October 27.

The Fall Ball program is a Sunday Training and Development (TAD) program that is non-competitive. The focus is on developing skills and game knowledge for kids who want to get ready for the spring season. It's low-key and fun. This is also a time to integrate new and returning volunteer coaches into the fold to learn alongside the kids.
Specific practice or game times are dependent on participation levels and field availability. Majors and Minors teams may offer optional practices during the week.
Fall Ball Levels:

  • AA Coach Pitch ($100) - Introduction to and practice hitting live pitching and developing game skills.
  • AAA Machine Pitch ($100) - Introduction to and practice hitting off the "Blue Flame" pitching machine used in our AAA division.
  • Entering Minors ($150) - Introduction to live kid pitching and hitting. Prior experience in AAA recommended.
  • Returning Minors ($150) - For kids looking to fine-tune their skills after playing in the Minors during the Spring 2024 season.
  • Majors ($150) - Introduction to Majors level play and a tune-up for kids who played in the Majors during the Spring 2024 season.
  • Juniors ($175) - Introduction to a MLB-sized field (60-foot mound and 90-foot bases).

These programs generally cover kids league ages 6-14 years. League age is as of August 31, 2024. (We must use the 2024 age chart as required by Little League and our registration system.)
Note: Participation in the Minors and Majors divisions in the spring season are drafted to group kids at similar skill levels. Participation in a Fall Ball division doesn't guarantee placement in the spring division, but the practice sure helps!

AAA Machine Pitch and AA Coach Pitch are fun, clinic-style format practices designed to work on improving baseball skills. All sessions are held at Mary E. Silveira Elementary.

Minors and Majors play interleague scrimmages with other leagues typically including Novato N, Novato S, West Marin, Ross Valley, Twin Cities, Sausalito/Marin City, Mill Valley, and Tiburon (expect 4 home games and 4 away games). We will use Gallinas Field for most levels for home games and travel within Marin to road games.

Juniors is currently a waitlist. If enough players register and coaches volunteer, the team will play interleague scrimmages with other leagues typically West Marin, Ross Valley, Twin Cities, Mill Valley, Tiburon, and San Rafael. Depending on field availability, the Juniors may be a combined program with San Rafael.
