Hello GVLL Families,

Opening Day is this Saturday! Looking at the latest weather reports, showers are expected later in the evening and so we are planning to proceed with the Opening Day Parade and Ceremony. If we need to cancel we will update you by Friday.
Please CLICK LINK for important parade information. A couple of quick reminders to help you all plan accordingly:

• Parade begins at Vallecito Elementary School - please arrive at 7:45am
• There is no parent parking in the Vallecito parking lot. It is exclusively reserved for GVLL parade trucks/floats. You may drop your child off at the entrance of the parking lot and one of our parent volunteers can direct and/or walk your child to their team float.
• Please dress your players accordingly for the weather and in their baseball uniforms. Coaches should be distributing the uniforms soon if they haven’t already. NO cleats should be worn in the trucks/floats.
• The parade will leave Vallecito at 8:30am with an escort from San Rafael Police Department and Marinwood Fire Department.
• The Parade route is listed on the maps attached, but we will end at Mary Silveira Elementary School at about 9:30am
• Our opening day ceremony will begin at approximately 9:45am and finish at about 10:45am.
• Player pictures for lower divisions will take place following Opening Ceremonies
• For the majors and minors divisions, we are still evaluating the fields at MES and Gallinas and will provide an update on the game schedule by Friday. 
• No games are scheduled for the lower divisions.
