Gallinas Valley Little League's baseball program caters to all girls and boys between the ages of 4 and 16 who either reside or attend school in the 94903 zip code. Our program offers a range of divisions tailored to accommodate your child's age and skill level:

Lower Division:

• Intro to Tee Ball: Beginner Level (League age 4)

• Tee Ball: Beginner Level (League ages 4, 5 & 6)

• AA Coach Pitch (League ages 6, 7, and older)

• AAA Machine Pitch (League ages 7, 8, and older)

Upper Division (Skills Assessment Required):

• Minors (League ages 8-11)

• Majors (League ages 10-12)

• Intermediates (League age 13)

• Juniors (League ages 13 and 14)

• Seniors (League ages 15 and 16)

Challenger Division: for players with physical or intellectual disabilities (League ages 4-18)

The age determination date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of the child on August 31, 2024. You can use the Little League Age Calculator to determine your child’s league age. Skills Assessment Note: Starting at age 9, children are placed in a division based on skill and safety. Any player aged 9 or older by August 31, 2024, must complete a skills evaluation. Children under the age of 9 can voluntarily participate in the skill assessment. 

Skills assessments for Majors & Minors will be held on January 20 & 21 at Miller Creek Middle School. Visit the skills assessment sign-up sheet for details and to select your time slot.

Key Dates for the Season:

• January 13-14: AAA/Minors/Majors Skills Clinics

• January 20-21: Majors & Minors Skills Assessments

• January 27: Intermediates & Juniors Skills Assessments

• February: Teams Formed

• March 16: Opening Day Parade! Games Start

Call for Volunteers! Gallinas Valley Little League is a non-profit, volunteer-operated organization dedicated to facilitating kids playing baseball in our community. It relies on parents and community members donating their time for the benefit of our kids and community.

Volunteering is a vital part of participating in Little League. Team Parents, Coaches, Snack Bar help, Umpires, Field Maintenance, Equipment and Uniforms coordinators, and more are crucial to the success of our league. When you register, please consider signing up as a volunteer or coach and contribute to making our league a fantastic place for kids to play baseball and have fun.
